Assistance with Christmas Dinner and gifts for children ensure that everyone enjoys the holiday season.
To determine eligibility for Christmas Assistance with The Salvation Army in Greater Moncton, we require proof of ALL income for ALL adults in the household, something with your current address on it and identification for every member of the household (children included).
To qualify for Christmas assistance with The Salvation Army in Greater Moncton, you must reside in a low-income household. The maximum annual income per household is as follows:
- 1 person household $29,000
- 2 to 4 people in household $47,703
- 5 or more persons in household $67,937
Proof of income options are:
- Proof of Income (last year Tax Assessment – line 1500) for every adult in the household
- Current Pay Stub
- Current White Card
- Study permit for International Students
Approved households are able to register for a grocery gift card and/or will be invited to our Santa’s Workshop to choose gifts for their children up to age 16, providing they have not already registered with another agency for same.
